The CDC notes that the dental community has been a leader in protecting patients via state-of-the-art infection control practices.
A Note to Our Patients:
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has routinely been a top priority in our practice. The use of masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and gowns protects staff and patients. The use of disinfectants, sterilization practices, dedicated hand washing, and disposable materials all facilitate safe dental visits for our patients. These practices are the backbone of the CDC’s Standard Precautions.
In response to the COVID 19 Pandemic you will see some changes at your next appointment. For example:
- Screening questions prior to scheduling appointments and upon arrival for appointments.
- Masks or face coverings requested upon entrance.
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients and eliminate waiting in the reception area.
- Procedure and air filtration adjustments to eliminate or reduce aerosol production.
Our priority is your health and wellness. We appreciate your patience and cooperation and look forward to seeing you again.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
We continue to monitor the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Organization for Safety, Asepsis, and Prevention (OSAP), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
