Recognized as a Top Dentist for 2018

Dr. Herring has been recognized by his peers as a topDentist™ since 2011.

Southern accents sometimes sound out of place in Sarasota, Florida. Not in the office of Timothy G. Herring, D.M.D., where the term “Southern gentleman” is considered a wonderful compliment. “Many people are nervous at their dental visits and we try to soothe their fears with patience and communication,” he says. A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, Dr. Herring was fortunate to train at both the Pankey Institute and the Dawson Academy.

Commitment to continuing education is a must in the ever-changing world of dentistry. Dr. Herring has been awarded fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in recognition of those continuing education goals and is honored to again be recognized by his peers as a Top Dentist for 2018.

Striving to treat every patient the way he would treat his family, Dr. Herring remains connected to the values that drew him to dentistry 30 years ago.

The office is located west of the trail on the corner of Floyd Street and Osprey Avenue, and close to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Being at the same location since 1985 makes Dr. Herring’s office easy to find; Southern manners make it easy to remember.
